I've played versions of these games on different compilations, but if you have an original PS1 and want a perfect Smash TV Arcade experience ,get this game and play it now. Later game compilations such as Midway Arcade Treasures on GC, PS2 and XBOX have issues with the audio cutting out after a certain time the game plays its music and you only get the voice and sound effects. This one was pretty good along with the Atari Collection 2 where it had Gauntlet and Road Blasters (another 2 of my favorite arcade games)I've heard complaints about this game with Super Sprint and its ability to spin the wheel to gain an advantage. You can do this with the analog control. You can use the right analog stick for accelerating and braking and the left stick to precision turn into those corners like you did when you spun the wheel to do so (which is also mentioned in a developer interview video which is also on the disk)Many people will complain about this compilation for its rough translation from the arcades to the PS1 but if you give it enough time and filter through what the game can and can't do with the analog controller your in arcade heaven again.
