FABRIC USED IN BLAZER- DUST-FREE COTTON VELVET Velvet is a type of woven tufted fabric in which the cut threads are evenly distributed, with a short dense pile, giving it a distinctive feel. By extension, the word velvety means "smooth like velvet."Because of its unusual softness and appearance as well as its high cost of production, velvet has often been associated with nobility. Half Canvassed Jacket Construction A half canvased suit uses a sewn in Horsehair canvas piece in the chest and lapel of the jacket, and is fused on the bottom part of the jacket. This allows you to have the canvas at the most important part of the suit- The Chest Area. Canvassing along the chest area ensures structure in the upper part of the garment, allowing it to drape naturally across the chest – rather than appearing stiff and unsightly. In addition, and perhaps more importantly, over time this means the jacket will mould to the wearer’s body shape. Fully Lined Jacket with Extra Buttons The lining in your suit jacket adds structure and weight to your suit. A fully-lined suit jacket is heavier, warmer and has a thicker look to it. As a result, the suit jacket lays nicely over the contours of the body. We use Satin Lining in our jackets. Alongside, we attach Extra Buttons on the inside of every blazer.
